KING ARTHUR’S TOOLS CARVING DISK (COURSE GRIT)
If you want something more aggressive than the flap disks, I recommend using these carving disks. They last a long time and eats wood like nothing. There’s several different grits to choose from.
TURBO T-40 lathe
This is the lathe I own. You can spin materials up to 14 inches x 24 inches long. But when you add the extension bed, it can be as long as 42 inches! The servo motor allows for easy speed adjustments. The head also rotates 90 degrees which makes it easy for turning the inside of bowls.
